The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted as a basis the bill on corruption prevention

The bill (Reg. No. 5113) determines legal and organizational principles of corruption prevention system functioning in Ukraine; as well as content and order of application of preventive anti-corruptive mechanisms; and rules for eliminating consequences of corruptive infringements.

Under the bill, the National Commission on Preventing Corruption (hereinafter – the National Commission) is the central body of executive power possessing a special status that secures formation and implementation of state anti-corruption policy.
